Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 9m beam and a 2.5m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 496 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 2015 with the keel laid under the project name 'YN 18151'. Launched in April 2018 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in May 2018.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of Irisha is both practical and stylish, reflecting a clear intention to merge functionality with aesthetics. The yacht's hull features a custom metallic blue-grey color that changes with the light throughout the day, giving it a dynamic appearance. The sleek lines and low profile of the vessel are reminiscent of a sport boat, despite its size. This design choice is emphasized by the dark glass bands and angled white sections on the superstructure, which create a visually striking contrast.

The sundeck itself is designed for both relaxation and entertainment. It houses a forward-placed bar with eight stools, four of which can rotate to face forward. This setup offers a great vantage point for viewing ports and harbors. The deck also includes an L-shaped seating arrangement and a spa pool surrounded by sun pads, providing ample space for lounging.

The main deck is designed to accommodate large gatherings, with a dining table that can extend to seat up to 22 people. Sliding glass panels and a flush deck ensure that the indoor and outdoor spaces can be seamlessly integrated, creating a versatile environment for various activities. The winter garden on the aft deck is another multifunctional space, capable of being heated or cooled as needed.

From her innovative Wintergarden to her detail-orientated layout, luxury yacht IRISHA strikes the perfect balance between forward-thinking function and refined style.

Interior Design

The interior design of Irisha reflects a blend of functionality and refined aesthetics. The Harrison Eidsgaard studio executed the design, focusing on creating versatile spaces with a coherent and warm atmosphere.

The main saloon and dining room are open-plan and designed to accommodate a range of activities. The saloon function can disappear to allow the large dining table to expand, seating up to 22 people. This table is crafted by Heesen's in-house joinery company and features a mechanism to shed a piece down the center, making it narrower for better service. Sliding glass panels at the aft end facilitate a connection to the winter garden, maintaining a uniform look with matching color schemes and furniture styles.

The color palette is dominated by dark warm grey and greige textures, accented by single deep, saturated colors. This design choice aims to create a balanced and welcoming environment.

The wheelhouse is integrated into the social area, with a settee and table situated above the helm station. The finishes include greige suede and chocolate leather, which contrast with the dark glass canopy and wood veneers. The canopy and rear glass bulkheads can slide open at the touch of a button, linking the bridge to the sundeck.

The upper saloon offers a more intimate setting with a bar, window seat, large recliners, and a unique coffee table made from an unusual tree trunk. The bar, created by Barn in the City, features a warm, varnished surface that contrasts with the dark wood paneling.

The staircase connecting the decks is a notable design element. It features a clear glass structural railing/banister combination, engineered to meet safety standards while maintaining a minimalist look. The glass panel had to be formed to follow the design around the stair column and terminate without sharp edges. This required multiple attempts to perfect.

The upper end of the stairs leads to a lobby between the upper saloon and the bridge, providing a well-lit transition space. The upper saloon includes a bar with three fixed stools and a dumbwaiter from the galley, maintaining a functional yet inviting environment.

Accommodation

IRISHA offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in five suites, with an Owner’s stateroom that stretches across nearly half of the main deck and includes a separate study and palatial en suite. The four guest suites on the lower deck are designed to offer flexible accommodation depending on how many guests are aboard, with sliding walls changing two cabins into one large VIP.

Living space is a real feature of this yacht, with huge glass sections and doors ensuring incredible views and deck access is always on hand. The upper lounge is a great example, with its spectacular views out across the water. On the main deck, a private dining room leads out to a winter garden, a glass-encased lounge that can be opened to the decks.

Each deck is connected by a sculpted central staircase, making moving around this yacht a joy in and of itself.

Up to nine crew are afforded a good deal of space, with four ensuite cabins and a mess on the lower deck and Captain’s cabin aft of the wheelhouse.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M93L) 4,613hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Irisha is capable of reaching a top speed of 26 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 55,500 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,425 nautical miles at an economic speed of 11 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Leisure & Entertainment

Designed for living, IRISHA comes loaded with fun. The upper lounge cinema is joined by a serious sound and disco system. There is on-demand TV, satellite communications and a piano in the main salon.

Wellness

The stern of the yacht hides a full spa and wellness area with a sauna and gym, opening up into a waterside terrace for watersports, dining or simply enjoying the view.
