Vaessen acknowledged the ongoing global economic uncertainty, citing the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) latest World Economic Outlook, which projects steady global growth despite inflationary pressures. He noted that wealth continues to accumulate globally, with significant transfers expected in the coming decades.

"The number of millionaires is on track to keep growing, and the great wealth transfer underway will see 84 trillion US dollars transferred to younger generations," he said.

Highlighting Heesen's response to market trends, Vaessen mentioned the growing demand for larger, more spacious motor yachts. "We are addressing a key market of owners that are looking to maximize space and experience on board to share with family and friends," he said.

The recently unveiled Project MONTE CARLO (shown above and below), a 62-meter four-deck superyacht, showcases this trend, offering a dedicated owner’s deck with a lavish master suite and office.

In discussing the company's commitment to sustainability, Vaessen reiterated Heesen's dedication to green solutions through its BlueNautech program. "All our yachts can be built with hybrid propulsion," he stated, citing the CINDERELLA NOEL IV as a prime example of their innovative approach. The new superyacht, delivered this year, was recently awarded Best Semi-Custom Yacht in Cannes.

Looking ahead, Vaessen also introduced key new team members, including Chief Commercial Officer Ruud van der Stroom, reflecting Heesen's continued and strategic expansion plans.
