Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 21'4" beam and a 5' draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 89 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the fourth yacht built on the Pacific Mariner 85 design.

Exterior Design

The flybridge is a standout feature, offering a functional space equipped with a helm station, wet bar, and ample seating. This area provides an ideal spot for relaxation while enjoying panoramic views.

The main deck is thoughtfully designed with large windows that allow natural light to flood the interior, enhancing the open and airy feel of the yacht. The vessel's walk-around side decks lead to a bow area that includes a sunpad, providing additional space for leisure activities.

Interior Design

The main salon has satin-finished cherry wood and cabinets, which provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Large, floor-to-ceiling windows allow natural light to flood the space, enhancing the airy feel and offering unobstructed views of the surrounding seascape.

The salon's layout is practical, featuring an L-shaped sofa with storage underneath, complemented by a cherry burl coffee table and additional seating with two barrel chairs. In the entertainment area, a pop-up TV is integrated into the design, accompanied by modern audio-visual components, ensuring that guests have access to entertainment when desired.

Adjacent to the salon, the dining area in the galley has an L-shaped settee with seating for five around a large cherry wood and burl table. This configuration offers a comfortable setting for meals and gatherings.

The galley, positioned just forward of the salon, features granite countertops, satin-finished cherry cabinets, and modern appliances, including a Sub-Zero refrigerator and an icemaker. The inclusion of a stainless steel sink and ample storage ensures culinary convenience for any voyage. The galley shares its space with the pilothouse, which is equipped with Garmin touch displays and leather helm seats.

Accommodation

The luxury motor yacht Life's a Journey offers comfortable accommodations for up to eight guests within its four well-appointed staterooms, each featuring its own en-suite bathroom for privacy and convenience. The master suite, located amidships, stands out for its expansive full-beam design. It includes a king-sized berth with storage underneath, and the en-suite bathroom enhances the experience with a jacuzzi tub, marble flooring, and a shower.

The VIP cabin is situated forward and accessed by descending six steps. Additionally, two more guest cabins are located aft. The starboard guest cabin includes an oversized queen berth with storage below, while the port guest cabin has twin berths, also with storage beneath.

The crew quarters, accessible through a watertight transom door, include two crew cabins to port and a captain's cabin to starboard, which features a double-sized berth. The crew mess area is equipped with a galley and a sofa that can convert into an extra berth, providing practical living quarters for the crew.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12v 2000 M90) 1,459hp engines, motor yacht Life's a Journey is capable of reaching a top speed of 27 knots, and comfortably cruises at 23 knots. With her 2,325 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,000 nautical miles at 21 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
