Design & Construction
Designed around a planing fiberglass hull and a GRP superstructure she features a 21' beam and a 5'4" draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 151 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
The yacht features a sizable bathing platform at the stern, providing functional access to the water and serving as an entry point to the crew quarters. The aft cockpit offers a spacious outdoor area for relaxation and socializing, complete with a bar setup including a fridge and sink. The high-gloss woodwork in this area is a prominent aspect of the yacht's finish, reflecting the attention to detail in its craftsmanship.
Stillwater has side access doors on both sides of the main deck, allowing for easy boarding from a dock and efficient transition to the side decks. Above, the Skylounge deck presents an additional outdoor living space, including a sheltered dining area, a hot tub, and a crane for tender or jet ski storage, supporting a tender of up to 14 feet.
The bow of the yacht provides a serene exterior lounge space, while subtle lighting under the overhangs adds to the ambiance. Storage options are ample, with large deck lockers available for equipment and supplies.
Interior Design
The interior design is characterized by high-gloss wood finishes that demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship. The woodwork throughout the yacht, with its inlaid panels and detailed edging, creates an atmosphere of refined elegance without indulgence.
Upon entering the main deck, guests are greeted by a spacious and well-appointed living area. The saloon is designed for both relaxation and socializing, with comfortable seating that invites conversation. Adjacent to the saloon, a dedicated desk area provides a quiet space for work or contemplation, alongside a day head.
The dining area is integrated into the main deck layout, surrounded by storage options, including discreet refrigeration units that offer both functionality and accessibility. The galley is fitted with professional-grade appliances, including a Miele cooking range, a trash compactor, and a dishwasher, reflecting a pragmatic approach to design. A coffee machine and wine cooler are also integrated into the space, catering to the culinary needs and preferences of guests and crew.
The helm, located on the upper deck in the skylounge, prioritizes operational efficiency and control. The helm station is equipped with multifunction displays, monitoring systems, and engine controls, all within easy reach of the dual helm seats. The use of remote controls for the displays underscores the thoughtful and purposeful design, enabling navigation without unnecessary movement.
The skylounge itself is an expansive area that offers additional living space, complete with a day head, thus providing convenience on both the main and upper decks. Natural light fills the space, enhancing the simple yet sophisticated decor. Lighting throughout the yacht is strategically placed, including inset lighting, to accentuate the architectural features and create a welcoming ambiance.
Accommodation
Stillwater houses up to eight guests within four sophisticated cabins. Each suite is complete with its own ensuite bathroom, ensuring individual comfort and convenience.
At the heart of Stillwater's guest accommodation is the owner's cabin, which showcases a full-beam layout. The cabin is well-appointed, featuring ample storage, a large ensuite with a significant shower area, and distinct craftsmanship in its woodwork finishes. Additionally, the owner's suite includes a walk-in wardrobe, accentuated with integrated lighting, enhancing both the functionality and the ambiance of the space.
The VIP cabin, located at the bow, offers guests a luxurious retreat, complete with its own unique character and generous storage options. As with the owner's suite, the VIP cabin also benefits from an ensuite bathroom, affording guests a private and comfortable stay.
Completing the guest accommodation are two twin cabins, each furnished with two single beds. Both cabins maintain the yacht's high standard of finish and come equipped with sufficient storage and their own dedicated ensuite facilities. One of the twin cabins features bunk beds, effectively optimizing the space and providing a versatile sleeping arrangement.
For the crew of four, Stillwater ensures that their living quarters are practical and well-organized, with a dedicated mess area and separate cabins. This includes a double cabin likely used by the captain and a twin bunk cabin, both designed to offer the crew a private and restful area. The crew quarters are completed with a shared bathroom and separate shower, alongside a compact galley and laundry facilities, ensuring that the crew can operate efficiently and comfortably.
Performance & Capabilities
At the heart of Stillwater's performance capabilities are twin diesel Caterpillar C-32A engines, each delivering a formidable 1,900 horsepower. These engines are a well-established choice in the maritime industry, known for their reliability and efficiency. The engineering behind these powerhouses ensures that Stillwater is capable of achieving a top speed of 24 knots, allowing swift passages and the ability to outrun inclement weather if needed.
For those preferring a more moderate pace, Stillwater cruises comfortably at 18 knots. When the throttle is pulled back to a more leisurely 10 knots, this vessel boasts a range of approximately 1,000 nautical miles. This extended range opens up a realm of possibilities for extended cruising, allowing guests to explore distant shores without the frequent need to refuel.
The engine room offers ample space for routine checks and maintenance, ensuring all mechanical systems function at their peak. Generators are positioned to efficiently support the yacht's systems, and the presence of a watermaker indicates self-sufficiency for fresh water while at sea.
