Constructed with steel and aluminum by the renowned shipbuilder Lürssen, and impeccably designed by Winch Design, PHOENIX 2 was first delivered in 2010 and underwent a significant refit in 2019.
The PHOENIX 2 superyacht is iconic, not only for its luxury and size but also for the striking 5.7m phoenix figurehead that rises proudly from its bow. This massive phoenix sculpture is a defining feature, symbolizing rebirth and power, and adds to the yacht's commanding presence. Inspired by Art Deco elements, the figurehead has been compared to the eagles mounted on the Chrysler Building, giving PHOENIX 2 a unique, almost architectural elegance. This was one of the first modern superyachts to feature such a prominent mascot, making it instantly recognizable on the water.
At 90m, the superyacht features in the top 100 of the world's biggest yachts by length.
The yacht’s interior style is grand Art Deco, featuring a ballroom, a gilt-and-black Steinway grand piano, an expansive dining table, a crystal chandelier, and an adjoining wine cellar. Guests can enjoy a variety of luxurious amenities including a cinema, a winter garden with options for open-air or climate-controlled dining, a beach club, and a beauty salon complete with a Hammam.
M/Y PHOENIX 2 offers luxurious accommodations for up to 14 guests across seven cabins. The full-beam owner’s suite, located forward on the main deck, features dual access from the main deck or via a stunning glass spiral staircase leading from the owner’s private observation lounge and office on the upper deck. Echoing the circular sweep of the windows and their panoramic views, the suite's design includes a black circle in the carpet and recessed lighting overhead. The suite also boasts twin bathrooms adorned in contrasting marbles, complete with a bath and a steam shower. One of the walk-in wardrobes can be concealed for commercial operation if desired.
Additional guest accommodations include three double VIP cabins, two double cabins, and a twin-berth cabin, complemented by quarters for a crew of 28.
