Amels superyacht Lady E extended 6m with new beach club

In less than a year, Lady E has been extended to 74.5m (244') by Falmouth shipyard Pendennis.

The superyacht has also gained a beach club and a health and wellbeing suite on the bridge deck.

Launched by Amels in 2006, popular charter superyacht ‘Lady E’ has finished her extensive refit, which started at Falmouth shipyard Pendennis in October 2019.

After less than a year, she’s back in the water surprisingly quickly, with a stern that’s 6m (20’) longer than before and an extra 120 sq. m (1292 sq. ft) of space across her four decks.

The lengthier stern has stretched out Lady E’s main deck aft, extending it so that guests can enjoy the sun and open air.

The deck’s been fitted with more seating and some dedicated sunning spots, too, to help them truly unwind.

Another huge change aft is Lady E’s new 60 sq. m (646 sq. ft) beach club – a feature that didn’t even exist when she was built, despite being much sought-after today.

Found at her transom, it gives the superyacht yet another spot where guests can relax. It’s complete with a bar, sun loungers and added seating, bringing them luxury at a level much closer to the waterline.

The bridge deck now has more places for relaxation as well. It’s been outfitted with a steam room, massage parlour and beauty room. On the sundeck, there’s a large jacuzzi, close enough to the bulwarks to let guests look out at the gorgeous oceanic views past the bow.

Alternatively, should guests want to be a bit more active, Lady E has a wellness area with gym equipment.

Further opportunities for activity can be found in the newly upgraded selection in her tender garage. When chartered, Lady E comes with a Wajer 55 S: a 16m (53’) unit that can reach upwards of 40 knots. It also boasts comfortable touches like a sunning spot on the foredeck and a dining area aft.

All of these new touches add to Lady E’s extravagant appeal. Before the refit, she was already home to a cinema system, multiple dining areas and, amidships, a spiral staircase. Her interior and exterior both used styling from Italian studio Walter Franchini Architetto.

Lady E has six cabins and can accommodate sixteen guests, with provision for a crew of 22.

Her two diesel engines together put out 4,748hp and she has a top speed of 18 knots, with a cruising speed of 15 knots. Her range is 5,500 nm.

Lady E is currently anticipating sea trials ahead of her charter season. To compare her against others from her shipyard, you can view all Amels yachts for sale.
