Arcadia has said it is expecting a “hectic” few months as it registers a record increase in its order book for 2022.
The sale of a fourth Sherpa 80 XL at the end of January boosted its order book to €20million ($23million), with the Italian yard confirming a further nine Arcadia yachts are slated for production and delivery by the end of 2022.
The yard has revealed it has “significantly increased the number of owners won over by the brand’s fleet”, as a result of a new business strategy it has implemented. Key to this strategy has been a process of brand internationalization, giving the yard a more diverse profile of Owners, with the features of its yachts being adapted according to the destination country.
The inaugural 23.9m (79ft) Sherpa 80 XL debuted at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2019 and with its large beam it offers a huge amount of living space onboard and in particular places a strong emphasis on outside entertaining and relaxing. In common with other models in the Arcadia fleet, the Sherpa 80 XL has a semi-planing hull, large solar panels on the roof and an expansive use of glass for plenty of natural light.
Alongside the delivery of the fourth Sherpa XL, Arcadia is also planning to unveil its new A Line models this year. They will replace the original A Line yachts, with the first model is scheduled to touch the water in spring/summer 2023.
Founded in 2008, Arcadia’s fleet is made up of the A85, A105, A115, Sherpa 60 and Sherpa 80 XL and is notable for its very distinctive styling, angular profiles and glass superstructures. To explore it in more detail view all Arcadia yachts for sale.
