In a time of uncertainty due to the coronavirus pandemic, 2021 yachting events have already been substantially affected by multiple cancellations, however with strict measures and additional procedures in place the globally known Dubai International Boat Show is now set to be a dominating feature of the 2021 yachting calendar.
Scheduled to take place from the 10-13 March 2021, the latest edition of the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) has already gained substantial momentum thanks to the brand new Dubai Harbour development.
With an aim of completion for the opening of the 2021 event, the Dubai Harbour, previously known as the Dubai International Marine Club, is to be the new annual host for DIBS and houses no less than 1,100 berths for yachts up to 160m.
Giving many visitors the first chance to see the brand new prestige facility up close, there's multiple shipyards already confirming their attendance. So far, some of the biggest names listed to appear at the 2021 edition of DIBS include Gulf Craft, Azimut, Feadship, Cranchi, Lurssen, Imperial, Oceanco and Pershing from the Ferretti Group.
While confirmation of attending yachts are largely yet to be announced, Princess has already compiled six yachts to attend the action-packed four-day event.
Expecting a show value of AED 2.6 billion, a host of well know attractions will be making their return, albeit looking a little different with COVID-19 restrictions in place.
Adrenaline pumped water toy demonstrations are gearing up as well as the Marine Art Gallery, the exciting Superyacht Avenue and of course the popular Dive MENA Expo.
