Asian shipbuilder Horizon has successfully completed two launches simultaneously. Both RP110 units, Wild Duck and The Legion have now completed all their sea trials and are scheduled for delivery to their new owners.

The owners of both the new hulls are previous Horizon customers, with purchases made from the Horizon E78 and Horizon E88 models.

Design work on the vessels features collaborative efforts from several long term partners to the brand including Cor D Rover and Donald Blount.

The coincidences surrounding these two RP110s are most unusual, and it has been our honour to be a part of this story. As the two newest RP110s begin their adventures on opposites sides of the globe, their owners’ stories will continue – with memories made aboard two beautiful, high-performance and well-planned Horizon superyachts.

motor yacht Wild Duck

Motor yacht WILD DUCK, the stunning vessel in white, is intended to be US bound after delivery and boasts a double chine. Measuring up at 33.53 metres, she features extensive exterior glazing for impressive interior illumination and striking lines.

Her exterior designs from Donald Blount are perfectly matched with a special commission by the owners as exquisite Italian designer Luca Dini worked on the interiors. Key features worth noting from the finished result are an outstanding 150 wine bottle storage system in the main salon and a seamless four stateroom layout for overnight accommodation.

In contrast to hull five, motor yacht WILD DUCK, the seventh RP110 hull, renamed as motor yacht THE LEGION by her Australian owners, stands out from the crowd in a remarkable shade of dark blue. Once again there is an abundance of natural daylight flooding in to the interiors thanks to an expanse of full floor to ceiling windows, plus the addition of a climate controlled skylounge area.

On this occasion, exteriors were designed by J.C. Espinosa, with highlights being a roomy sunpad on the foredeck and an exceptional swim platform which has the ability to launch a three ton tender. Long term collaborative designer Cor D Rover produced some stunning interiors which matched the specifications laid down by the new owners.
