The latest Horizon FD80 is said to soon be available to the U.S. market and is showcasing further versatility for the continually growing Horizon Fast Displacement (FD) Series.
Penned by world-renowned yacht designer Cor D. Rover, the Horizon FD80 has proven a valuable asset to the fleet of FD yachts, nestled in nicely between the entry-level FD75 and the FD90.
Measuring up at 24.56m (80.7ft) she is just short of superyacht status, but she embodies the luxury and amenities often found on larger yachts.
Featuring an enclosed skylounge on the flybridge and a beach club, visitors onboard can make the most of the views both from up high and on the water level.
Naturally, there's abundant space around the exterior decks for relaxation and spectating thrilling watersports sessions, but the main focal point of this particular launch was the galley.
Situated in a prime position where it accommodates guests both in the interior and exterior areas of the yacht without being intrusive.
The first hull of the FD80 to feature the open plan galley arrangement, the layout "adds to the feeling of spaciousness onboard" with Horizon also stating that this hull is also the first to be installed with Caterpillar 1,600bhp engines.
Finished off with Cambria Brittanicca flooring and high-gloss lacquered touches throughout, prestige blends in seamlessly into the convenient setup, plus with backlit staircases and convertible cabins the innovations behind the Horizon FD80 certainly tick off many requirements for new Owners.
