ISA Yachts announces first collaboration with Nuvolari Lenard on 80m ‘Project Amarcord’

The 80m (262ft) superyacht is being built on spec, with a planned delivery date of 2025.

ISA Yachts has announced its first collaboration with esteemed designers Nuvolari Lenard is now in build.

The 80m (262ft) superyacht ‘Project Amarcord’ is being built on speculation at the yard’s Ancona facility and is expected to be ready for delivery in 2025. At the moment details are limited on the project with only an initial rendering having been released, but the yard has said it will “capture the essence of ISA Yachts”.

"We are confident that Nuvolari Lenard can best interpret such a beloved brand as ISA Yachts, starting from our 80 metre already under construction. This will be an opportunity to work with them on other interesting innovations in the stylistic field", comments Giuseppe Palumbo, Sole Director of Palumbo Superyachts.

Nuvolari Lenard was behind the design of Lurssen’s 88m (288.7ft) superyacht QUATTROELLE and its 141.6m superyacht NORD (above) and Oceanco's 81m 'Alfa Nero' (both below).

Venice-based Nuvolari Lenard has become one of the most decorated design studios in the world since it was founded in 1991 and was the designer responsible for Lurrsen’s 141.6m (464.6ft) superyacht NORD, the biggest superyacht delivered last year.

Its design work on Oceanco’s 81m (265.7ft) ‘Alfa Nero’, with an unusually large infinity pool that transforms into a dance floor or helipad, picked up numerous awards, whilst it was also responsible for Lurssen’s 88m (288.7ft) superyacht QUATTROELLE, with its recognizable sugar-scoop windows and high bow.

"We are designing a yacht that conceptually and stylistically connects with the many others built by ISA Yachts so far. It is not an easy task, considering that ISA boats have always had a strong personality and the ultimate goal is to further strengthen it by "dressing" it with an innovative, recognizable and unique style", Carlo Nuvolari commented.

Rendering of ISA Yachts Continental 80
The yard also revealed renderings of its ISA Continental 80 last year.

ISA Yachts is a brand of Palumbo Superyachts and has launched more than 30 yachts with an average length of 44.5m (146ft) over the past two decades. The yard also has an 80m (262ft) ISA Continental 80 in build and set to join its fleet in 2024.
