ISA Yachts launches 65m superyacht RESILIENCE

The 1,400GT yacht features a huge beach club, two swimming pools and a full-beam Owner’s suite.

ISA Yachts has launched its latest superyacht, 65m (213ft) superyacht RESILIENCE, with the name inspired by the strength of togetherness against the Coronavirus pandemic.

In common with most shipyards across the globe, the construction of the 1,400GT was affected by lockdown restrictions that have been in place.

'M/Y Resilience is a project in which we have invested a lot and which fills us with enormous pride,” explains Giuseppe Palumbo, CEO of Palumbo Superyachts. “I thank the owner and his family who have given us their trust and who, by christening their yacht with this name, have expressed a feeling that has seen us all united and resilient against the pandemic. This superyacht will surprise for the Italian taste it expresses, for the refinement in the exterior and interior details and for the technological innovations implemented."

Motor yacht RESILIENCE is a collaboration between ISA and Enrico Gobbi of Team for Design who has developed her interiors and exteriors. She features a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, and a six-cabin layout, including a full-beam owner’s suite located forward on the main deck.

Amongst her highlights are a 180 square meter (1,937 sq. ft) beach club with three access points. The beach club is created thanks to the stern door folding down to sea level and the aft swim platform tilting and aligning itself with the opened stern door.

The interiors have a cool and calm feeling thanks to a cobalt blue color scheme, with modern clean line furniture selected to create a sense of interaction with the outdoor areas.

Other standout features include two swimming pools, gym, massage room with sea views, Turkish bath, outdoor cinema room and two jet skis and two tenders.

ISA Yachts is part of the Palumbo Superyachts brand and has a pedigree for building sleek and sporty yachts with impressive levels of speed. It launched its 50 knot ISA Super Sportivo 100 GTO in May, and claims the 30m (100ft) superyacht will be one of the fastest boats in its class. In a further nod to its sporty aesthetics, it unveiled a range of Formula 1 inspired yachts named after motor racing great Ayrton Senna the same month.

Its largest build to date is 66.4m (218ft) superyacht OKTO delivered in 2014, although this will be usurped by the 80m (262.5ft) ISA Continental 80, which is set to be delivered in 2023.
