ISA Yachts reveals entry into multihull market

ISA Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, has unveiled its first catamaran model, the 40m (130ft) ISA Zeffiro 130.

ISA Yachts has announced its first multihull model, the ISA Zeffiro 130, a 40m (130ft) power catamaran.

The new yacht features a 13.1m (42.6ft) beam and will be a collaboration with Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design, something that Guiseppe Palumbo, CEO of Palumbo Superyachts who owns the ISA brand, thinks will make it stand out: “Stemming from the brilliant work of the seasoned French team from Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design, we strongly believe ISA Zeffiro 130 can really make a statement to the yachting arena,” he said. “The decision to diversify our ISA Yachts brand offering came from a careful analysis aimed at positioning ourselves at the high-end of the power catamaran market".

On the main deck, the full-beam Owner’s suite occupies the entire forward area and makes the most of the volume available. It comes complete with a king-size bed, private lounge, walk-in closet and bow-facing desk with 180-degree panoramic glazing that opens up onto an over 100 square meter (1,075 sq. ft) cockpit with a Jacuzzi.

Aft of the Owner’s area is a 200 square meter (2,150 sq. ft) living zone with plenty of natural light complementing the refined interior designed by Isabella Racoupeau. There are a number of relaxation areas elsewhere with an upper deck aft lounge that opens up onto a full-beam cockpit pit and an 80 square meter (861 sq. ft) flybridge with a large sunbathing zone and a fore bar area.

The lower deck is home to four VIP cabins and provides storage for water-toys and a tender at the bow. There is also an interesting twist on the beach club, with the transom and side platforms folding down to create one continuous space, akin more to a design you might expect on a traditional monohull.

Like most multihulls the ISA Zeffiro 130 will be highly efficient, with a range of around 3,700nm and a shallow draft making it easier to get near those remote inlets and hidden coves.

We strongly believe ISA Zeffiro 130 can really make a statement to the yachting arena.
