Sunreef Triumph at La Belle Classe Explorer Awards

Sunreef Yachts has become one of the latest winners at the esteemed YCM Explorer Awards in Monaco.

The Sunreef 80 Eco Marie-Joseph turned heads at the award ceremony, showcasing an abundance of eco-aware innovations, making her an obvious winner in the eyes of the curated panel of judges.

Presented with the award for the Technology & Innovation category, Sunreef attained the award thanks to multiple eco-friendly installations that display the brand's commitment to reducing the carbon footprint of yachting. Examples of the green innovations onboard the Sunreef 80 Eco include what is described as a "solar skin" system, a hydro generation system plus high-performance batteries.

Featuring a five-cabin layout and plenty of options for optimization, the Sunreef 80 Eco Marie-Joseph was one of four winners at the 2023 La Belle Classe YCM Explorer Yacht Awards, with Sunreef Yachts Founder and President Francis Lapp receiving the award for demonstrating the "Art de Vivre la Mer" philosophy that embodies the ethos of the award ceremony.

An annual award ceremony that takes place each March, the YCM Explorer Awards is a fixture of Monaco's Ocean Week, which targets sustainability and reducing the impact that yachting has on the environment.
