The Viking 54C has taken home the award for “Best of Show” from Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) 2020, barely a month after it was first unveiled in mid-September.
The award was accepted by Viking Yachts CEO Pat Healey, accompanied by his sons Justin and Sean.
The sportsfisher yacht has three cabins and two heads, and an unobstructed 14 sq. m (154 sq. ft) cockpit designed to give fishers as much room and manoeuvrability as possible. The port and starboard sides both have plenty of space for whatever is caught while out on the water. Plus, the decking is only 91cm (3ft) from the waterline.
Forward, a walkaround centre console provides a 360-degree view of the ocean.
The Owner’s cabin inside provides a 32-inch widescreen TV and wardrobe space. The forward cabin has these features as well; those buying the yacht can customise the space to include either a queen-size bed, or a crossover twin arrangement.
The 54C is powered by a pair of 1,440hp engines that give it a cruising speed of around 35 knots, while the top speed can exceed 40 knots.
