Yachts not to be missed at Palma Superyacht Show

Less than two weeks until Marina Moll Vell in Palma de Mallorca opens its doors for the long-awaited 2021 edition and a host of captivating yachts have confirmed their attendance.

Cancelled in 2020 due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, the Palma Superyacht Show has an incredible event planned for an expected crowd of 38,000 visitors.

Showcasing an even spread of sailing boats and motor yachts for sale, Palma is world-renowned for offering an ideal opportunity to buy a yacht ready to go for the oncoming summer season.

Sunseeker 90 Ocean

A flybridge model absolutely not to be missed at the Palma show, the Sunseeker 90 Ocean makes her global premiere as part of the 'Famous Five' collection from British shipyard Sunseeker.

Advertising maximum speeds of 26 knots she boasts a variety of perks including a flybridge measuring around 25% larger than comparative models and a spacious beach club to relax and entertain guests.

Complete with electronically controlled X-TEND™ sunbeds, a 'penthouse style saloon and luxurious staterooms', she is a model to be reckoned with and looks set to be a real asset to the British fleet.

Ferretti Yachts 850

An award-winning model from Italian shipyard Ferretti Yachts, the Ferretti Yachts 850 is currently the second largest model in the fleet and features capacious accommodation for up to eight guests.

Winner of the Best Flybridge Yacht (above 80ft to 110ft) at the Asia Boating Award event in 2017, the spacious yacht is primarily designed for crew operation and is powered by either twin 1800hp MAN V12-1800 or twin 1900hp MAN V12-1900 engines.

Complete with a hydraulic swim platform for flexible entertaining space, a separate tender garage helps to maximise onboard space for guests, providing a seamless transition throughout the interiors and exteriors.

Sunseeker 65 Sport Yacht

Another global premiere from Sunseeker as the 65 Sport Yacht joins the popular range of Sport Yachts for sale.

Accommodating up to six guests in ensuite cabins, Sunseeker promotes maximum speeds in the region of 40 knots with a full tender garage and a hydraulic swim platform.

Powered by either twin 900hp Volvo Penta D13-IPS1200 or twin 1000hp Volvo Penta D13-IPS1350 engines, she is best described as sleek and minimalist, making the most of the space on board with a multi-functional sports bridge for socialising or soaking up the Mediterranean heat.

Riva 56 Rivale

Speeding along the waves at 38 knots, the Riva 56 Rivale is designed for either Owner or crew operation and features a full tender garage within the stern.

Powered by twin engines, the Italian sports yacht boasts two ensuite cabins and spacious interiors that comprise of a port side galley, lounge area, dinette and roomy sun pads on the deck. 

Along with a swim platform for easy access into the water, the Riva model has many uses and could even be used as a tender for larger superyachts.

OK, it's a sportsbridge not a sports yacht but the Princess S66 is absolutely worthy of attention and an ideal yacht for cruising and weekend voyages. 

Hosting four cabins with space for a crew member, the S Class motor yacht features a deep V hull for maximum speeds of 38 knots plus an aft galley for convenient service to both interior and exterior dining areas.

Also boasting a 3.3m tender garage, she can easily accommodate some watersports equipment for high-speed thrills on the waves.

Another model attending from British shipyard Princess, the R35 may be smaller than other exhibiting models but she certainly packs a punch.

Designed in collaboration with automotive design house Pininfarina, the Princess R35 promises eyebrow-raising speeds of 50 knots and houses a comfortable double berth cabin.

Winning Best Yacht Design Innovation in 2019 at the Asia Boating Award ceremony, she has an Active Foil System (AFS) for enhanced stability and comfort, giving Owners all they need for an enjoyable experience on the water.
