Delivered in 2012, Lady L is an award winning 44.77m motor yacht built by Dutch shipyard Heesen. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Omega Architects, while Heesen is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 9m beam and a 2.5m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 463 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2009 with the keel laid under the project name 'Zentric'. Launched in January 2012 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in April 2012.
Exterior Design
Lady L's profile is sleek, with clean lines that convey a sense of motion even when at anchor. The aluminum construction not only ensures longevity but also allows for a more intricate design, as evidenced in the yacht's streamlined silhouette.
The aft deck of Lady L features an expansive sun pad area, which is integrated seamlessly into the deck, providing an inviting space for relaxation and socializing. As one moves forward, the main deck offers a welcoming bar and seating area adjacent to the salon entrance. The glass doors leading to the interior are powered, enhancing the ease of transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.
The yacht's side decks lead to the foredeck, which houses additional life rafts and a tender, easily deployable via an integrated crane system. The foredeck also includes a built-in U-shaped seating area, thoughtfully positioned below the typical level to provide additional wind protection and privacy.
Lady L's sun deck is designed with guest comfort in mind, offering vast sun pads that flank a centrally located hot tub, providing panoramic views. The deck also includes amenities such as an ice maker, refrigerator, grill, and sink, enabling effortless outdoor entertainment.
Interior Design
The main salon features a clean, contemporary design with a neutral color palette that creates a serene atmosphere. The salon is equipped with a retractable TV, allowing for entertainment without detracting from the minimalist decor. Ambient LED lighting accents the ceiling, providing a soft glow that enhances the space's overall calm ambiance.
Adjacent to the main salon, the formal dining area is set up to accommodate 10 guests, mirroring the yacht's sleeping capacity. The dining space is defined by its straightforward layout and the presence of storage cabinets along the walls, which blend functionality with the room's understated style.
The professional tone of the yacht's design is carried through to the helm, which is outfitted with state-of-the-art navigation and communication equipment. The layout is logical and efficient, with all instruments and controls within easy reach, facilitating a smooth operation. A nearby pantry and prep area support the helm, offering practicality for the crew during voyages.
The galley presents a commercial-grade kitchen designed to cater to high-end culinary requirements. Accommodation
Lady L provides a luxurious and inviting environment for up to ten guests within its five well-appointed staterooms.
The master cabin, prominently positioned on the main deck, is a full-beam suite that affords its occupants a sense of privacy and spaciousness. The king-sized bed is the centerpiece of the room, and the suite includes an en-suite bathroom featuring a large dual rainfall walk-in shower, a bathtub, and double vanities with backlit mirrors. The master cabin also boasts ample closet space, with a larger closet on one side, complementing the well-conceived layout of the suite.
Descending to the lower deck, guests will find four additional cabins, each with its own unique character and equally luxurious amenities. There are two queen rooms, both featuring en-suite bathrooms, providing guests with their own private retreats. Additionally, the yacht offers another cabin with a versatile arrangement, as well as a room designed with younger guests in mind, featuring two single beds, one of which includes a built-in crib. Each guest cabin maintains the high standard of Lady L, with en-suite facilities that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Crew accommodation on Lady L ensures that up to nine crew members, including the captain, can be comfortably housed. The crew quarters include a crew mess and several bunk rooms, with the captain's cabin being notably spacious and well-equipped, reflecting the importance of their role and well-being.
Lady L's thoughtful design extends to the practicalities of service and operation. A dumbwaiter system is installed for efficient transport of meals and service items between decks, and the yacht features a dedicated laundry room.
Performance & Capabilities
Engineered with precision, Lady L is powered by two MTU V16 4000 M90 engines, each delivering a robust 3650 horsepower. This formidable powertrain allows the yacht to achieve a top speed of around 24 knots, demonstrating both speed and efficiency on the water. At this maximum speed, Lady L offers a range of approximately 1200 nautical miles, a clear indication of her long-range capabilities.
Reducing the cruising speed to 12 knots significantly extends her range to about 3000 nautical miles, allowing for extensive voyages without the need for frequent refueling. At an even more conservative speed of 10 knots, the yacht approaches a range close to 4000 nautical miles, making transatlantic crossings not only possible but comfortable.
To ensure stability and comfort during voyages, Lady L is equipped with advanced stabilizers. These systems work to minimize the rolling motion of the yacht, providing a smoother experience for guests and crew alike, whether at anchor or during navigation.
The technical spaces of Lady L, such as the engine room, are meticulously arranged, housing the two powerful MTU engines and two John Deere generators that support the yacht's systems and operations. The chief engineer's office, situated within the engine room, serves as a central monitoring point for all onboard systems, ensuring operational integrity and safety.
