Stormborn is a 153'3" motor yacht delivered by Dutch shipyard Heesen in 2008. Heesen's in-house team has created the interior and exterior design of the superyacht.
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 29' beam and a 9'4" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Accommodation
Stormborn offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 VIP cabins, 1 double cabin and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (8V 4000 M70) 1,554hp engines, motor yacht Stormborn is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 15,850 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,606 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Stormborn also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
