The secretive Feadship 67.4m (221ft) superyacht Project 823 has been technically launched at its Scheepswerf Slob shipyard in Papendrecht.
The project remains under a confidentiality agreement, so minimal details are known around the tri-deck superyacht that will now be moved to the Feadship yard in Kaag. We do however expect Project 823 to remain there throughout the rest of the year for her technical and interior fit-out, ready for delivery in 2023.
This news comes hot on the heels of the launch of Feadship’s 71m (233ft) superyacht JUICE, marking a typically busy start to the new year as the Dutch yard looks to continue from where it left off last year. According to YachtBuyer Intelligence, Feadship delivered eight superyachts in 2021, the largest of which was 94.75m (311ft) superyacht BLISS, closely followed by 94m (308ft) superyacht VIVA.
It has a number of other projects in the pipeline, one of the most significant of which is the 118m (387ft) Project 1010, which is expected to be delivered this year. The 4,999GT superyacht will take the title of the largest Feadship to date and the largest yacht built in the Netherlands when she is handed to her Owner.
