Builder Heesen Yachts has delivered the first of a new class of 57m all-aluminum superyachts. Named SANTOSHA, the superyacht boasts an internal volume of 780 GT, and a lightweight, ultra-efficient Fast Displacement Hull Form.
Drawing from their previous chartering experiences, the owners worked closely with Heesen’s engineers and craftsmen to ensure the new superyacht met and subsequently exceeded their expectations in terms of form and function.
Accommodating twelve guests across six luxurious staterooms, the motor yacht SANTOSHA features a lavish 63 square meter owner’s apartment on the main deck. The yacht’s striking exterior, designed by Omega Architects, is highlighted by a distinctive scooped stern, adding to her commanding presence on the water. Spacious outdoor areas further enhance the onboard experience.
Designed and engineered for speed, performance, and stability, superyacht SANTOSHA showcased its capabilities during sea trials in the North Sea, demonstrating outstanding handling and quiet operation in a variety of sea conditions.
Powered by two IMO Tier III-compliant MTU 16V 4000 M65L engines and featuring an efficient hull design, the Heesen 5700 Aluminum model achieves an impressive top speed of 22 knots. At cruising speeds of 13 knots, the superyacht has a 3,900nm range.
We are honored to have had the opportunity to build this exceptional yacht for such a wonderful family. Both the Heesen and owner's teams worked tirelessly to bring SANTOSHA to life. I am confident she will set a new standard for Heesen yachts, offering comfort and style for those who love to cruise.”
