Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 12.46m beam and a 3.85m draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 1,790 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.

This was the fifth yacht built on the Amels 242 design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. She was delivered to her owners in January 2021.

Exterior Design

Synthesis dimensions, with a length of 6.7 meters and a width of 3.4 meters, accommodate a proportionally large pool on the main deck. This pool is not merely for swimming; it also includes a shallow seating ledge, serving as an accessible transition between the port and starboard sides.

The outdoor living spaces on Synthesis have undergone thoughtful reconfiguration by Winch Design. The main and upper decks have been transformed to enhance the flow and utility of these areas, especially for the owner's enjoyment. A significant alteration includes the removal of raised sills that once separated the indoor saloons from the outdoor spaces, allowing for a more integrated experience. Additionally, the yacht includes a partially recessed Jacuzzi situated forward of the owner's suite, reinforcing the helipad to accommodate a weightier class of aircraft.

In terms of equipment, Synthesis is equipped with a state-of-the-art waste heat recovery system and robust generators, including a nighttime generator for energy efficiency and reduced noise. These technical specifications serve the practical needs of the vessel while maintaining the high standards expected of a luxury yacht.

The main deck of Synthesis has been meticulously reimagined to prioritize the owner's preferences and the overall guest experience. The saloon has been restructured to facilitate entertainment and relaxation, with a TV viewing area, a bar, and custom sofas. The design emphasizes the continuity between the indoor spaces and the aft deck pool area, providing an inviting and cohesive environment for guests.

Synthesis also features an indoor dining area that has been ingeniously integrated into the bridge deck's upper saloon. This space seamlessly transitions to the outdoor social area, doubling as a potential office space due to its discreet location.

Synthesis' outdoor features are designed with the owner's unique vision in mind, including the distinctive red-tiled pool with a teak surround, which adds a touch of character and individuality to the yacht's aesthetic. The vessel boasts a dedicated owner's deck with a spa pool that offers breathtaking panoramic views, emphasizing the premium experience aboard the yacht.

The bridge deck serves as an extension of the owner's private retreat, with an aft lounge that acts as a gallery for art pieces against staggered panels of end-grain Tabu Tay wood. This space, envisioned for pre-dinner cocktails, leads to an aft deck dining area that can host up to 14 guests.

Further enhancing the guest experience, the yacht offers a sundeck with umbrellas and a Jacuzzi, providing an exclusive area for relaxation and socializing. The wellness area on the lower deck is a sanctuary dedicated to rest and rejuvenation, featuring a massage room, sauna, and hammam.

Interior Design

In the main saloon, the design incorporates a TV viewing area with an 85-inch screen and custom sofas, creating an inviting space for entertainment or relaxation. The bar, strategically located for unobstructed access to the aft deck pool area, serves as a focal point for social gatherings. The dining solutions onboard highlight versatility, with an asymmetrical indoor table that can be set as a buffet or a comfortable dining space, surrounded by multipurpose furnishings such as a bookcase to accommodate various group sizes.

Attention to detail is evident in the feature wall of the forward saloon, where petrified wood blocks are arranged in a unique mosaic, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the space. The audio-visual system onboard is a testament to the yacht’s commitment to providing high-quality entertainment options, with the capability to host movie nights on a large screen aft on the bridge deck.

The reimagined wellness area on the lower deck focuses on relaxation and includes a fold-out terrace, hammam, sauna, and a central hot tub. The use of striking materials, such as the blue and green streaked panel of verde bamboo classico, adds a tranquil ambiance to the spa-like setting.

Across the yacht, the use of rare materials and thoughtful lighting design contributes to the sophisticated atmosphere. Large windows in the guest areas allow natural light to flood the interior, complementing the shadow lighting on the oak steps and the backlit onyx features, which create an almost mystical experience when traveling between decks.

The owner's office and adjacent spaces demonstrate a balance between privacy and accessibility, with double pocket doors and a lobby that maintains a clear path for guests to access higher decks. Ambient lighting and wood treatments in the owner's suite, along with the thoughtful placement of art in the owner's lounge, further emphasize the yacht’s dedication to a refined and personalized onboard experience.

Accommodation

Accommodating a total of twelve guests, Synthesis is outfitted with six well-appointed cabins. The distribution of these cabins includes a pair of VIP staterooms located on the main deck, and three additional guest cabins situated on the lower deck, each designed to provide a tranquil and luxurious stay.

The VIP cabins, notable for their privacy and elegance, are accessed via a marble-clad rotunda replete with bookmatched slabs of rare paonazzo marble, recalling the majesty of the Alps. The discreet entryways to these cabins are ingeniously integrated into the design, ensuring the aesthetic continuity of the space. Within, guests will find an inviting dressing area leading into the spacious cabins, with large windows that allow for ample natural light. The attached bathrooms are generously sized, enhancing the overall comfort of the VIP experience.

The owner's suite is a sanctuary designed with precision and care. Entered through a vestibule that separates his-and-hers bathroom and dressing room combinations, it features a uniquely floating bed under a domed ceiling adorned with palladium leaf. The design of the suite is intentional, with minimal furnishings to emphasize the breathtaking 180-degree views available through the full-height glass. A private sundeck and Jacuzzi forward extend the living space outward, offering a serene vantage point over the horizon.

The lower deck's guest cabins are designed with a relaxed, five-star hotel sensibility, complete with a geometric carpet pattern that adds a touch of sophistication. These cabins ensure guests enjoy a comfortable and restful environment throughout their stay.

Synthesis is also equipped to accommodate a crew of nineteen across eleven cabins, ensuring that every guest need is attended to with the utmost professionalism and discretion. This allows for an impeccable level of service, contributing to the unforgettable experience on board.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3516) 2,719hp engines, motor yacht Synthesis is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 183,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.

The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. Ensuring everyone on board can enjoy the water to the fullest, luxury yacht Synthesis offers a large beach club connected to a swim platform, with plenty of space for lounging and soaking up the sea views. The yacht is also home to a beauty salon which features all of the facilities required for a number of different beauty treatments. The yacht can house plenty of nautical toys and accessories, with a well-appointed tender garage for storing her impressive locker. Underwater lights create a dazzling light display when the sun goes down. Crowning the yacht is a spacious sundeck with an inviting spread of sunpads and deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
