Innovative 70m S702 debuted by Tankoa at Monaco Yacht Show

Tankoa Yachts has debuted its new S702 concept at the Monaco Yacht Show 2019.

Announced during a press conference at the prestigious yachting show, Tankoa Yachts revealed details of its new S702 concept which has three different superstructure profiles so owners can customise to their own taste.

Powered by twin Caterpillar 3516 B DITA-SCAC HD engines, the S702 superyacht model has top speeds of 17 knots, with cruising at 16 knots.

Following suit after the popular 69m superyacht SUERTE and the 72m superyacht SOLO (the S701 model), the new superyacht boasts impressive design collaboration from Francesco Paszkowski and captures iconic characteristics of Tankoa vessels, including the black chine and V design on the hardtop.

Building on the success of SUERTE and SOLO, this new 70-metre design incorporates the distinctive brand features of Tankoa and combines them with new solutions. The aim has been to develop a yacht with innovative stylistic and technical features that will confirm Tankoa’s status at the forefront of the superyacht sector.

Onboard living is an indulgent affair thanks to the innovative design efforts put into the finished result. Positioning tender storage underneath the foredeck helipad has created an abundance of space on the stern, which in turn provides a spacious beach club.

In addition to the extra available space on the beach club for guests to relax, room has also been used to add a wellness area including a hammam and sauna. Sun loungers, al fresco seating and dining options plus two swimming pools add to the exciting outdoor scene around the exteriors, with interiors reflecting the indulgence on the inside.

An isolated owner's cabin sets the bar with its own private access between the main and upper deck. The 50 square metre cabin spreads over two decks and boasts its own gym and exclusive side terraces.

Other guests are accommodated throughout the remaining decks, with two VIP cabins on the upper deck, two VIPs on the main deck and a further two guest cabins on the lower deck.
