136m Superyacht Project ALI BABA by Lurssen on Sea Trials

Lürssen maintained absolute secrecy throughout the yacht's construction, keeping the project shrouded in mystery until the yacht emerged from the shipyard’s shed.

Construction started in early 2020 with the keel laid under the project name GRANDE II  Now in its sea trials phase, the 136.8m motor yacht Project Ali Baba is preparing for its delivery to the new owner.

The superyacht Project Ali Baba is on sea trials near Brunsbüttel, Germany, with an anticipated delivery in December. Lürssen, the renowned yacht-building giant, has maintained strict confidentiality throughout the construction of this 136-meter yacht. Project Ali Baba was first glimpsed in May 2022 when it emerged from the construction shed, and again in December during an unfortunate dock gate incident at the Bremen yard.
