The 165'8" motor yacht Totem was delivered to her owners in 2010 by Dutch shipyard Heesen. The yacht's elegant exterior design is by Omega Architects, while her interiors are the work of Mojo Stumer Associates.

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 31'6" beam and a 10'2" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 668 GT (Gross Tonnes).

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

Totem features a three-deck structure plus an additional sun/gym deck. The lower deck includes guest cabins and crew quarters at the bow, equipped with dedicated bathrooms, a mess, and a crew lounge. The guest accommodations consist of two roomy double cabins and two convertible twin cabins, all with private bathrooms. The aft section houses a garage capable of storing a Frausher Lido 686 speed boat, a jet ski, and other watercraft, with an adjacent technical area and cabin.

The main deck features a bar corner and a cockpit with ample seating. The garage's design allows it to convert into a private beach area when fully opened.

On the upper deck, the bow area accommodates an additional tender launched by a nearby crane, while the helm station connects to the captain's double cabin and technical rooms. This deck also includes service rooms, a secondary living room, an "al fresco" dining area, and a day head. A winding staircase connects all three decks.

The topmost level houses a gym with a panoramic view and a sunbathing area featuring a large circular Jacuzzi and surrounding sun pads.

Interior Design

The main living room is furnished with comfortable sofas, coffee tables, and multimedia equipment. The space is designed to ensure maximum comfort and relaxation, with ample seating arrangements that make it suitable for social gatherings. A bar corner with a semicircular top and stools adds to the utility of the space, making it convenient for hosting and entertaining.

The dining area, located near the galley, features a square table that comfortably seats 12 guests. The layout allows for direct access to the main living room, facilitating easy movement and interaction between the two spaces.

Accommodation

Totem offers comfortable and well-appointed accommodation for up to 10 guests. The lower deck is dedicated to guest cabins and crew quarters. There are two spacious double cabins amidships, each featuring dedicated bathrooms and beds placed at a 45° angle to the keel. Additionally, two further cabins are located aft of these, which can be configured either as twin cabins with separate beds or as doubles, each also equipped with private bathrooms.

The main deck houses the owner's suite in a wide-body configuration at the bow. The owner's suite includes a centrally placed bed, a study/office corner, a lounge area with a sofa, and a large bathroom. Large windows along the sides offer panoramic views and abundant natural light.

The crew quarters, located in the bow area of the lower deck, include dedicated bathrooms, a mess, and a crew lounge. On the upper deck, adjacent to the helm station, there is a double cabin for the captain with a dedicated bathroom. The technical area near the garage also includes a cabin with a bathroom.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (8V 4000 M70) 8-cylinder 1,554hp engines, motor yacht Totem is capable of reaching a top speed of 14 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 21,134 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,685 nautical miles at 13 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

Amenities

The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. In addition, a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. The yacht can house plenty of nautical toys and accessories, with a well-appointed tender garage for storing her impressive locker. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Totem also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
